Synopsis
At the end of his life, Victor Hugo set aside his pen to take one last look at the ocean and confront his ghosts. The film is based on the collection of poems Les Contemplations, in which the poet addresses issues such as the loss of his daughter Léopoldine and humankind's relationship with nature.
