Synopsis
A series of sketches lampooning the post-war newsreel: sport, news in brief, recipes… Among the items: A man, Léon Pitot, sets out to run 150 miles on the back of his twin sister; the broadcasting of a speech in the National Assembly by the Minister of Reproduction; coverage of a cross-country race through the St. Cloud woods. Plus, a Parisian gardener’s cost-cutting recipe for large families.
