Synopsis
For nineteen years Queen Mary Stuart, sentenced to death by the British Parliament, has been held captive by her cousin Queen Elizabeth Tudor. For nineteen years and despite her cousin's unending demands, Elizabeth has been refusing to meet Mary and make the final decision : death or mercy. During the fall of 1587 Elizabeth Tudor and her royal escort ride to Chartley Castle where Mary Tudor is imprisonned.
