Synopsis
On the outskirts of Bordeaux, in a zone undergoing reconstruction, a chip stall is set up each day in a parking lot in the middle of the building site. The regular customers are workers and prostitutes who seem to kill time without worrying about the surrounding transformations. Lost people who are grandiloquent and sincere converge here each day while the construction progresses. By following three of their meandering destinies, the film questions the uncertain social fabric that they shape together in this place suspended in time and which they manage to tear away from their own reality.
