Synopsis
Yvette Obardi doesn’t know the origin of her mother's money — the Countess Obardi lives a carefree existence amid a dubious entourage. Her lover, Jean de Servigny, reveals to Yvette that Countess Obardi has fallen very low, and that for that reason he cannot marry Yvette. In despair, Yvette tries to kill herself. Jean finally admits his love for Yvette.
