Synopsis
Damien, a young and arrogant writer, tells his cab driver the story of his beside book, Faust's Rose, from which he regularly draws inspiration. Determined to follow in the footsteps of his master, the author of said book, he arrives in a gloomy hotel at the edge of a forest. Apart from the elderly receptionist asleep at her desk in the hotel entrance, there is no one, except for an old man beside the fire reading the same book as Damien.
