Synopsis
May and Christian are expecting their first baby. But what they're not expecting is the horde of guests gathered together in their dark apartment for a surprise baby shower. While the shock fades and gives way to conversations focused on babies, peopel begin to wonder if the happy couple is hiding more than social insecurity. When May begins to drink more than she should, thinks degenerate when the baby cake is at last revealed.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager.
