Thirty-year-old Suzy live alone... or almost. Her mother, Madeleine, who lives right nearby, frequently comes over and gets involved in Suzy's life in order to forget her own lacklustre existence. But Suzy, who loses her job and is dumped by her boyfriend, isn't in the best state of mind to put up with her mother's interfering. No matter, Madeleine still needs to let off steam "for Suzy's sake," but, mainly so as to free herself. Suzy copes with each phase, her head held high... or almost.
