Traveling on One Leg
Synopsis
In Romania, during the communist regime in 1985, thirty-year-old Irene falls deeply in love with a German man named Franz. They share a brief and intense love affair. When Franz leaves Romania, Irene decides to follow him to Berlin so they can stay together. After arriving here, Irene slowly realizes that Franz no longer wants to be with him. She finds herself cast into a spiral of melancholy and nostalgia about her lost love and her country.
