Synopsis
UnderGronde is a journey of initiation throughout the Europe of fanzine and graphzine production, and micropublishing. We set out to discover how artistic practices become a common and unifying language, outside of insitutional and commercial circuits.
Across the continent, underground places proliferate. Inventive worlds full of activity and creativity, where artists obey only one rule: "Do it yourself!"
An artist in a studio, a city, an event will introduce us to another artist, city, or event. The underground principle is that of movement, the encounter, chance. Nothing is organized, or if so, at the last minute. A territorial drifting according to the desires of people and of their creations.
