Synopsis
In the swampy forests of Mount Circe, Jupiter transforms into Diana to seduce the virgin Callisto. A little further on, at the edge of a waterfall, the nymph Salamacis fuses by vengeful passion into the body of the young Hermaphrodite. But in each of these transformations the transformation of those embodying the characters is also played out, thus giving a new breath to the ancient text of Ovid's Metamorphoses...
