Synopsis
Jacek, a boxer, lives in a world of violence and solitude. His daily life is dominated by sport and personal struggles, having moved to France as a child with his parents to escape the Cold War in Poland. Full of hope, he has a strong will to make a go of his situation and finally finds a way to feel fulfilled in life: music.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets.
