Synopsis
In Santo Domingo, while others dream to leave to go abroad, Miguel, a young Dominican, a hopeful itinerant salesman, dreams to remain on his island with his childhood sweetheart, Laura, a young Dominican under the guardianship of her grandmother. When this one discovers the existence of their relationship, she tries to impose her views to the young woman who will become then a victim of the family pressure.
