Synopsis
A commercial organisation with many varied interests is threatened by a plan to construct a trans-african railway. The directors, among whom Lehurit- nicknamed "The Archbishop"- is Chairman, decide to have the Secretary General of the French Community murdered. Getting wind of this plan, the security services send in the famous secret agent "The Gorilla" who presents himself to the director of the organisation as the man who is to take on the assassination of the Secretary General. The substitution demands the presence of "The Gorilla's" son, since the real killer was also to be accompanied by his son. But Ouemêmé, a negro, is suspicious of this over-curious killer and tries -without success, however, as the attempt fails- to take his place in the job in hand. "The Gorilla" addresses vehement protests to Lehurit at having been prevented from carrying out his assignment, but once again Quemêlé manages to instil doubts in the directors' minds ; they, to establish whether "The Gorilla" is really the killer, have his son Antoine kidnapped. This development leads to an epic struggle which ends in "The Gorilla" recovering his son, having sacked the kidnappers'house in the process...
