The Inn

The Inn

A Short film by Izù Troin

Produced by Folimage

Production year : 2012

Synopsis

1862. A high altitude inn at the foot of a glacier in the Swiss Alps. Each winter the snow isolates the inn, rendering it totally inaccessible. This year, Gaspard, who has been coming from ages, is with a young novice, Ulrich. When he arrives, Ulrich meets Lise,  the innkeepers daughter, and feels terribly attracted by her. When he decides to join her, he is too late: the snow fallen in abundance forbids the access to the valley. Ulrich is overcome. The next day, Gaspard, gone hunting, does not come back. The young man, haunted by his fears and his fantasies, will he survive?
