Synopsis
Deep in South Africa, Layla, a single, 27-year-old mother, has just been hired by a firm, located several hundred miles from her home, specializing in detecting lies told by its staff or potential employees.
One night, when returning home with her young son Kane, Layla crashes into another car. The accident kills the other driver, a man. Layla tells Kane to never mention a word about the event, but she slowly becomes paranoid and afraid that she'll be found out.
Layla feels even more guilty when she discovers that Pienaar, a young, helpful and attractive man she meets at work, is the dead man's son.
