The Iron Lady
Synopsis
Margaret Thatcher, the first and only female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (from 1979 to 1996), once capable of controlling Britain with an iron fist, is now in peaceful, forced retirement in London. More than 80 years old, she gets caught up in her memories. From the family grocery store to her arrival at 10 Downing St, from political sucessess and failures, agreed sacrifices to imposed betrayals, she exercised power with the constant support of her husband Denis, who has now passed away, and managed to win respect by abolishing all barriers linked to her sex and class. Between the past and present, this intimate journey is a new struggle for this woman who is adulated as much as she is detested.
