Synopsis
On the coal road, which goes from the mines of Shaanxi to the big port of Tianjin, in North China, the drivers, who steer trucks of a hundred tons loaded as much as possible , make the noria, night and day. By the roadside: prostitutes, cops, robbers, garage owners, mechanics. The drivers drive through mountains and plains and manage to escape accidents. They hurriedly get drunk at night with some girls, have no time to sleep and find themselves in the port to sell their load against a handle of yuans. They leave immediately towards the mine, comforted by the conversations on the mobile phone with their wives who live in shanties spread by the roadside.
