Synopsis
Anne is alone in Paris and 9 months pregnant. She is waiting for José, the unborn baby's father, an Argentinian who went out to buy some cigarettes and never came back. It is at this time that José's grandfather arrives from Buenos Aires and moves into Anne's apartment to wait for his grandson. Between this cheeky elderly bohemian, who flirts with death, and this deserted and withdrawn woman, who'll give birth any day now, an improbable tragic-comic relationship forms.
