Synopsis
At the beginning of 1943, Menne Spiegel, a horse trader and World War One veteran, desperately tries to find a place to hide his wife Marga and daughter Karin. Heinrich Aschoot, a German patriarch, Nazi party member and father of a Wehrmacht soldier, doesn't hesitate for a moment to hide Menne and his family, at the risk of his own life.
