Synopsis
A scientist learns that an Italian colleague, who directed a research program similar to his own, has been kidnapped. Now on his guard, he tries to find the traces of the missing man. He encounters a young woman who witnessed the kidnapping.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager.
