Synopsis
A couple careen into the night behind the wheel of a ‘borrowed’ car belonging to Swiss radio. Lucie and her brother Lionel are the children of a Waldensian minister, and possibly the direct descendants of a Polish family. But nothing could be less certain. What is certain, however, is a wild chase through Slovakia, the abandoned factories of Silesia, a stolen car, a marriage to obtain a work and resident’s permit, the Cracow student, false passports, real trouble, the road for Warsaw, and, last but not least, adventure. And somewhere in Poland, there's a horse that drowns night after night.
