Synopsis
Emilie, a six-year-old girl, arrives with her father Patrick in a seaside resort hotel in Brittany. They've come to spend a vacation here. Emilie encounters ten-year-old Julien. His parents are in the middle of separating and have handed over the boy into the care of his aunt and uncle, who run the hotel. Patrick rapidly abandons his daughter for a young woman he meets one evening. Discontented with their situation, the children decide to run away to a little island to have a vacation all of their own.
