Synopsis
Irene, a woman in her thirties from the provinces, leads a successful, if isolated, professional life in Paris. The same can’t be said for her private life. Awkward, her head in the clouds, she’s only attracted to married men, guys who are always on the road or homosexuals; there’s pile up of failed affairs behind her.
Her life is a permanent gap between her dreams and what actually happens.
She employs a painter to renovate her new apartment. Full of useful advice, annoying and highly sociable, he quickly invades Irene’s space.
Against all expectations, these two characters who share nothing in common, eventually get together.
