“Balkan Baroque”: woman’s remarkable personal development. Willingly conjuring-up the past causes something more secret, more intimate, to emerge: an unexplored future which is embodied in fictions perceived as authentic fragments of life.
“Balkan Baroque” leaps from one life line to another, from true tales to tall stories, from dream to ritual… body language often taking over from words, interrupting them, or to the contrary, setting tongues into motion again.
