We Are Going Nowhere and It's Fine by Me
Synopsis
After losing his job, a steelworker decides to migrate with his family from the east of France to his wife’s native country, Finland. A pair of wandering outcasts tags along behind them. One of the pair, a little guy with a funny face, falls in love with the working man’s daughter. His pal, a kind of philosophical wild man, insists on keeping a brotherly eye on him. It’s a journey from fire to ice, laced with encounters that bring the family face to face with other destinies, some gentle, some violent. To each his road and his reasons for travelling it.
