Synopsis
Isabelle's boyfriend has just committed suicide. Lost at large, Isabelle, a young hairdresser, roams the streets of Paris until she decides to change her life radically, and leave the city. She travels to the Atlantic coast, where she meets, on the beach, Michel, a young history professor with a passion for birds... During the following Summer weeks, Michel will tell Isabelle many stories, and together they'll meet a bunch of excentric people. At the end of the Summer of love, Isabelle discovers that Michel is a married man. She goes back to her life.
