Synopsis
The story of Ali, Slimane, Staf, Nacéra and Samy in a working-class neighbourhood in Goussainville, 12 miles outside of Paris. The action takes place during preparations for the Muslim feast of Aïd El Kebir, unfolding over five days like the five fingers of a good-luck charm. Faced with problems of love and identity, these young people live at the juncture of opposing worlds : the city and the suburb, drugs and work, exclusion and integration.
