French Film Festival in the Czech Republic

    Event presentation

Founded in 1998, the annual French Film Festival offers Czech audiences to discover around thirty of the latest offerings from French film production. The event is held in three cities (Prague, Brno and Ceske Budejovice) and attracts around 20,000 spectators each year.

In addition to preview screenings and films presented in a competition section selected by Czech film critics, the festival also features a Panorama section showcasing French co-productions and a Short Film Evening.

The festival organizers include the French Embassy in the Czech Republic and UniF

grance, in partnership with the French Institute in Prague and the Alliance Française network in the Czech Republic. The event is included in the French Cultural Season in the Czech Republic.
