43rd Directors' Fortnight: French selection

From May 12 through 22, 2011, the Directors' Fortnight sidebar at the Cannes International Film Festival will showcase 8 feature films and 6 short films solely or majority produced by France.

Impardonnables by André Téchiné
Jeanne Captive by Philippe Ramos
La Fin du silence by Roland Edzard
Chatrak by Vimukthi Jayasundara (co-produced with India)
The Fairy by Bruno Romy, Fiona Gordon, and Dominique Abel (co-produced with Belgium)

The Kids of Today by Jérôme de Missolz (co-produced with Belgium) will be presented at a special screening.
