Synopsis
A barber from Seville called Figaro is kidnapped by brigands because of his fine voice which could serve as bait to attract travellers... when they would all the more easily be robbed. To escape the police whom he confuses with his aggressors, he has no choice but to go and fight in Porto-Rico. He returns covered with glory, all his sins forgiven, and now most desirable in the eyes of Andalusians women, and in particular in the eyes of Rosina, a young noblewoman...
