After receiving a master's in philosophy, Claire Devers entered IDHEC film school. Her first feature, «Noir et blanc,» won the Golden Camera Award at the 1986 Cannes Festival. Whereas her first film was rather austere, she changed style and tone with her third feature, «Max & Jérémie,» which sketches a portrait of two killers played by Philippe Noiret and Christophe Lambert. Devers has just finished making «La Voleuse de Saint-Lubin,» featuring Dominique Blanc, as part of the «Left/Right» series commissioned by the ARTE television station.
