"Les Nuls" ("The Zeros"), France’s comedy team whose hilarious routines are in the vein of "Saturday Night Live" and "SCTV," chose Alain Berberian to be their own particular director. He’s been fulfilling this role for five years. Starting as an editor for Canal Plus, he worked on "Objectif Nul." "Les Nuls" decided to put his skills to use directing skits for "ABCD Nuls." Impressed by his work, "Les Nuls" have held onto him tightly. Comedy was not Alain Berberian’s first calling. He dreamed of directing a "nerve shattering thriller," but instead found himself in charge of 50 episodes of "Histoire(s) de la télé," a compilation of satirical commercials and trailers for "Les Nuls, The Show" from 1990 to 1992. Naturally he ended up directing "City of Fear, a family comedy" one year later and was in the director’s chair once again with "Paparazzi." Berberian has recently finished his third feature, "Six Pack," a film with a serial killer theme. It was released in France on 26 April, 2000.
