18 short films were in the running for the Gras Savoye Prize. All these films were selected by Unifrance's Short Film Commission on the basis of those selected at least seven times in 2003 at film festivals supported by Unifrance and which had not been awarded prizes.
With this award, Gras Savoye, in association with Unifrance, expresses its desire to honor the teamwork of a young producer and director. It is a way of highlighting the vital importance of these professions in the audiovisual industry, as well as an occasion to give young directors the opportunity to gain recognition and to present their work.
