Cannes: tribute to Yves Robert

The Cannes Festival is paying tribute this evening to the French director who passed away last Friday, aged 81.
Robert's landmark comedy that earned him enormous success with the public, "An Elephant Can Be Extremely Deceptive" (1976), starring Guy Bedos, Claude Brasseur, Victor Lanoux and Jean Rochefort, will be screened at 10 p.m. in the "Salle des Sables", the new outdoor theater set up by the Festival for the general public and movie enthusiasts.
