The Gras Savoye Prizes for an up-and-coming short film director and producer were presented Thursday, May 19 at Club Unifrance in the presence of Association President Margaret Menegoz.
For the third year running, Unifrance and Gras Savoye have joined forces to honor a director and a producer of short films.
In order to promote the talent and diversity of emerging filmmakers, eleven films were selected by Unifrance's Short Film Commission and presented to a jury of industry professionals on May 11.
The Producer's Prize was awarded to Pascal Judelewicz (Les Films de Cinéma) for the short film "La Méthode Bourchnikov' by Grégoire Sivan, and Mike Guermyet and Samuel Hercule shared the Director's Prize for their short film "Le Principe du canapé."
