The Directors' Fortnight selection includes 4 French feature films and 5 French short or medium-length films.
Of the 21 feature films included in the Directors' Fortnight line-up, four are French productions:

The 37th Directors' Fortnight will be held from May 12 through 22 this year, and will present the following awards: the Arts et Essai Prize, the Short Film Prize, the International Critics' Prize (FIPRESCI), the Youth Prize, the Ecumenical Jury Prize and the City of Cannes Audience Prize.
