10 French films to be screened at the Richmond French Film Festival

The 9th edition of the festival will be held from March 31 to April 1 in Richmond, Virginia. A sizeable artistic delegation will be present.(03/09/01)
Put together by Peter Kirkpatrick, the festival's selection comprises the following 10 films: "Deuxième vie" by Patrick Braoudé, "Le Roman de Lulu" by Pierre-Olivier Scotto, "La Chambre des magiciennes" (aka "Of Women and Magic") by Claude Miller, "Mon Père" by José Giovanni, "Nationale 7" (aka "Uneasy Riders") by Jean-Pierre Sinapi, "La Vache et le président" by Philippe Muyl, "Lumumba" by Raoul Peck, "The King is Dancing" by Gérard Corbiau, "La Maladie de Sachs" by Michel Deville and "A Crime in Paradise" by Jean Becker. The artistic delegation includes Vincent Lecoeur, José Giovanni ("Mon Père"), Raoul Peck ("Lumumba"), Elie Semoun, Patrick Braoudé ("Deuxième vie"), Albert Dupontel ("La Maladie de Sachs"), Claude Miller ("La Chambre des magiciennes"), Claire Keim, Pierre-Olivier Scotto ("Le Roman de Lulu"), Philippe Muyl ("La Vache et le président"), Jean Becker ("A Crime in Paradise") and Gérard Corbiau ("The King is Dancing"). The festival has received support from Unifrance for the past 3 years.
