The third Francia está en pantalla, an event organised by the Institut Français of Spain and Unifrance, took place from June 5 through 8 in several Madrid venues, in the presence of filmmakers Robert Guédiguian and Ivan Calbérac, and actors Ariane Ascaride and Sébastien Chassagne.
The third edition of the festival, organized by the Institut Français of Spain and Unifrance, was held this year at several venues in Madrid, and once again welcomed filmmakers and artists who were available to meet with audiences after the screenings.
The event aims to give visibility to contemporary French audiovisual creation in all its diversity, by programming films of different genres, dealing with a variety of social issues, and aimed at all audiences, with a particular focus on young people.
For the first time, it was held in collaboration with Cines Embajadores, a chain committed to the distribution of arthouse films. Screenings took place in Madrid, at the Institut Français and at Cines Embajadores.
Franco-Spainish co-production meetings have been held in parallel on June 6 and 7 at the Institut Français in Madrid, organized by the Institut Français of Spain, ICAA - Instituto de la cinematografía y de las artes audiovisuales, and CNC.
