For its Asian premiere, "The Crimson Rivers" went straight to the top of the Japanese box office. Showing in 22 theatres in 9 major cities, the French movie has been seen so far by 85 000 viewers. This confirms the extraordinary popularity of Jean Réno and firmly establishes Vincent Cassel, who made his first memorable appearance in Doberman. The next "Rivières" stage is South Korea : the film will be released on february 10th, in around 80 cinemas.
