This is the year when Agnès Varda presented her first photography exhibition, which consisted of photos pinned to the shutters of her home in rue Daguerre in Paris, where she still lives! Sixty-three years down the track, some of the photos from this exhibition, along with other works that combine a range of different media, are presented in an exhibition in New York entitled Life Is Art held at the Blum & Poe gallery, located on Level 4 and 5 of a building on East 66th Street.
Agnès Varda is a French movie industry personality who is adored all around the world, where she continues to travel tirelessly year after year, particularly to the United States, which she knows well having lived there with her husband Jacques Demy in the late 1960s.
