The film by Franck Ekinci and Christian Desmares was honored with the top prize at the closing ceremony of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival held June 20, 2015.
A debut feature film produced by Je Suis Bien Content, April and the Extraordinary World by Franck Ekinci and Christian Desmares (a majority French co-production with Canada and Belgium, distributed in France by STUDIOCANAL) has picked up the Crystal Award for Best Feature Film.
Long Way North by Rémi Chayé (a majority French co-production by Sacrebleu Productions and Maybe Movies with Denmark) received the Audience Award in the Feature Film category.
