Guillaume Brac's film has won two more awards at international film festivals.
After Vincent Macaigne received the Best Actor Award at the Mumbai Film Festivali, Tonnerre, the debut feature by Guillaume Brac, continues to reap accolades at other international film festivals. At CINEMANIA Francophone Film Festival in Montreal, the film was awarded the TFO Prix du Public, which includes a cash prize to assist independent filmmakers with future projects. And at the Festival de la Réunion, it received the Golden Orchid from the festival jury, presided over by Cédric Kahn.
Tonnerre, which tells the story of a rock musician who holes up at his father's place in Burgundy one winter, will be released in France on January 29, 2014 by Wild Bunch Distribution.
