Synopsis
Jérôme Rocheville (Adolphe Menjou) is a lazy roue, recently married to a gorgeous young girl. Rocheville's illegitimate son, now the blue-nosed owner of a prosperous soap factory, shows up to instill a bit of responsibility into the old man. But Rocheville refuses to be "tamed" into respectability and heads out for a night on the town. Imagine his anger and jealousy when he sees his young bride flirting with his own son. Before this mess is finally cleared up, Rocheville has learned to take life a bit more seriously, while his son has discovered that it isn't so bad to enjoy oneself once in a while.
