Synopsis
In Spain in 1532, a 12-year-old boy named Esteban leaves Barcelona Cathedral to listen to the extraordinary tales of the sailors. This is how he meets the navigator Mendoza, who claims to have saved him at sea as a baby. His proof is part of the mysterious pendant Esteban wears around his neck. On the death of his guardian, Esteban decides to follow Mendoza in search of the legendary Cities of Gold. He sets off for the New World, on the trail of his origins...
