Over 10 episodes, the series NUDES deals with a practice that permeates society today: the sending of naked photos, a little embarrassing and high-risk – and therefore exciting. It also raises a contemporary subject: the virtualisation of human relationships and sexualities. To do this, we chose to follow the stories of three teenagers. From SOFIA – a character torn between social determinism and confronted by homophobia – to ADA, a teenager growing up isolated in the countryside, prone to the dangers of paedo-criminality online – by way of VICTOR, a medical student, unaware of the dangers that he inflicts on his victim – NUDES thereby paints the portraits of three teenagers faced with the issue of cyberbullying, without falling into didactic discourse. Three renowned and politically engaged film directors, who have all tackled youth culture in their previous work, were gripped by this current social phenomenon.
