Synopsis
One day, the decision was made: Amel, a 12-year-old orphan, would leave. It's not a question of choice: her country is at war. Unfortunately, nothing goes according to plan. At the border, Amel loses her accompanying family and finds herself alone. Along the way, she meets Bacem, a deserter and oud (oriental lute) player. Together, the child and the former soldier go through the pain of exile and learn to rebuild their lives.
