Synopsis
In a remote village in northern India, old women, deprived of everything because they are widows and unwanted, come to find refuge. Exiled from the world of the living, they turn obsessively in this open-air purgatory, chanting praises to the god Krishna for hours on end until they forget their own names and their own history.
