Synopsis
John is a British retiree living in England. His grandfather, William James, moved to China when he was barely twenty years old. Sent there as an accountant for a tobacco company, he met his future wife, had five daughters, and lived there for most of his life. John knew almost nothing about his grandfather's life until one day he stumbled upon a large wooden box filled with glass slides.
