Synopsis
A large metal door slides open to let in the police vans. Men emerge, each with their own story. Walls, cells, stone staircases, courtrooms, backstage areas, tears, screams, glances. The Marseille courthouse is overwhelmed with drug cases. Those on trial here are the managers of an economy of chaos. They are also small-time hashish workers, children who grew up alone. Below, the port; in the distance, the suburbs; the bustling city, full of its wounds. And its beauty, too.
